Volume 17, Number 1 of the Romanian Journal of Political Science

PolSci Volume 17, number 1 (Summer 2017) comprises articles which deal with themes such as Russian imperialism, Brexit and political participation of young people. The first article deals with Russian neo-imperial dependence model. The second discusses Brexit through the lens of Hegel’s political philosophy. The third article explores moderate Salafism and the challenge of de-radicalization in Pakistan. The fourth focuses on the tragedy of the commons without social capital. The fifth article discusses the civic activity of young people in Poland.

The issue also contains a book review of Wenceslao, J. Gonzalez. (2015), “Philosophico-Methodological Analysis of Prediction and its Role in Economics”.
