EUROREG (2004-2007)

EUROREG was a research project which analyzed the connections between European economic development and the mobility of minority groups located on the territory of member and candidate states. Its goal was to produce a comparative piece of research on the effects of European policies on minorities and on the mobility of the majority and minority populations along the borders.

The Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy was the main coordinator of a project that reunites a consortium comprising eight regional organizations, well known for the activities they undertook in the public space (the European Institute in Florence, the International Center for Minority Studies and Intercultural Relations, the Department of Political Science at the Comenius University Bratislava, The University of the Basque Country, the Center for Cultural and Religious Studies from University of Ljubljana, the European Research Center-Kingston University and the Romanian Academic Society).
